April Results

Another month has drawn to an end. April was the first full calendar month in which His Name Was Death was available for sale. For those keeping track, my debut novel was first available on March 13th. In the month of March, I sold 40 eBooks, 2 paperbacks, and had 16,815 pages read through Kindle Unlimited (for roughly another 35.8 copies). March's grand total was 77.8 copies, across 5 markets, in approximately two weeks.

In the month of April, I crossed the 10 review mark (the point where a book can start showing up in other books' "Also Bought"), ultimately reaching 15 reviews by the end of the month. One of those reviews was my first from a real book blog. I also ran a sale (dropping the price to 99 cents). The month saw 200 purchases of the eBook, 1 paperback sold, and 84,346 Kindle Unlimited pages (for another 179.5 copies). April's grand total reached a much more impressive 380.5 copies.

Unfortunately, sales are showing a significant dip over the last week. If they don't pick up on the their own, I'll probably drop the eBook price to 99 cents permanently (at least until The Second Beast is ready for publication.
